David Pierce, MD
Dr. David Pierce, MD is a Board-Certified emergency medicine physician who practices in Buffalo, NY. Dr. Pierce currently holds the position of Vice President for Kaleida Health and Chief Medical Officer for Millard Fillmore Suburban (MFSH), and DeGraff Memorial Hospital (DMH). Dr. Pierce also serves as the Quality and Patient Safety Medical Officer for Millard Fillmore Suburban (MFSH) and DeGraff Memorial Hospital (DMH). He completed his medical education at New York Medical College. He continued his post graduate medical training at the University at Buffalo, where he completed his residency and served as the Chief Resident of Emergency Medicine. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Clinical Emergency Medicine at the University at Buffalo School of Medicine (UB). He is an active clinical educator and has remained committed to serving Western New York as an innovative leader and educator. He is also a matriculated student at Harvard University pursuing his Master’s Degree in Management with a focus on Health Care.
Erich Fogg, PA-C, MMSc, EM-CAQ
Erich Fogg PA-C, MMSc. EM-CAQ, has over twenty years of experience in emergency medicine and acute care. Erich received his undergraduate degree in Sports Biology from Springfield College. Upon the completion his undergraduate degree Erich continued his medical education at Emory University in Atlanta, Ga where he earned his Master’s degree. Erich currently serves as the Director of Walk-in Care at York Hospital, York, Maine. Erich brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the EMI team due to his formal education and field training in acute care settings.
John Bielinski, MS, PA-C
John Bielinski, M.S. PA-C earned a master’s degree in family and emergency medicine. Upon the completion of his medical training John dedicated himself to the practice of emergency medicine. John served as an acute care provider for nineteen years, operating in hospitals and intensive care units. During this period John fostered a passion for teaching. John committed himself as a medical educator founding CME4Life, one of the nation’s fastest growing medical education providers specializing in PA Board Review courses. John also serves as an educator for local universities in Western New York, providing instruction on advanced cardiac life support to PA students, paramedics, and nurses.
Michael Sharma, MS, PA-C
Mike Sharma, MPAS, PA-C, is an emergency medicine and acute care PA who practices in Dallas, TX. After obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in biomedical science from Texas A&M University, he served as an officer in the U.S. Army. Mike then graduated from the Interservice Physician Assistant Program, after which he served as a military PA, including a deployment to Afghanistan. Mike is an energetic and innovative educator who is passionate about sharing his insights with fellow medical professionals as well as learning from their experiences.
Bill Horn, ARNP-C
Bill Horn ARNP-C is an ER/Neurosurgery NP practicing in Jacksonville Florida. Bill graduated with a MSN degree from the University of North Florida Nurse Practitioner program. Bill brings a wealth of experience from his extensive career in the Emergency Room, ICU, and operating room where he specialized in neurosurgery. Prior to working as a nurse practitioner Bill worked for ten years as a flight nurse, ultimately becoming Chief Flight Nurse and Medical Manager over two helicopter bases in North Florida.
Robert D. Steinhaus
Mr. Steinhaus is an attorney specializing in medical malpractice cases. He completed his education at SUNY Buffalo receiving a Bachelor’s degree in communications. He went on to receive his law degree from the University of Bridgeport School of Law in Bridgeport, CT. His professional associations include: American Bar Association (AMA), American Association from Justice (AAJ), New York State Bar Association (NYSBA) and New York State Trial Lawyer Association.
Elizabeth M. Midgley, Esq.
Elizabeth M. Midgley is a partner at Anspach Law, a regional law firm with offices in multiple states. Ms. Midgley is an experienced trial attorney with success defending matters involving medical malpractice, dental malpractice, long term care facilities, professional malpractice defense, legal professionalism and ethics, premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, railroad law, and general negligence litigation. Ms. Midgley regularly counsels and advises attorneys, hospitals, physicians, long term care facilities, businesses, and other medical professionals.
Michael Zionts, MD
Michael Zionts, MD is a Board Certified Family practice physician who has been working in the emergency room setting since 2008. He graduated from the State University of New York Upstate Medical University in 1998. He completed his residency at Suny. He has won multiple teaching awards from University of Buffalo, having spent 13 years as a clinical educator and physician leader with the UB Family Medicine Department, 9 of them as Residency Program Director. He is passionate about patient care and teaching in the emergency room setting and is excited to share not only evidence based medicine but real applicable clinical take home messages.
Dr Zionts currently works at DeGraff Memorial Hospital as an Emergency Room attending as well as a Physician Pod leader for Landmark Health.
